Our Rose Hydrosol is distilled from freshly harvested rose petals growing wild along the Maine coast. The cooling and rejuvenating properties of this aromatic flower calm redness and ease irritation.
Rose is naturally gentle and soothing, and contains mild astringent properties that help tone and tighten tissues - offering support for dry, sensitive, and mature skin.
What is a hydrosol?
A hydrosol is the subtle aromatic water of a plant or flower. Using a copper distiller, steam passes through fresh plant matter collecting water-soluble constituents, trace amounts of essential oil, and medicinal properties.
Well-suited for all skin types, hydrosols are recommended as the water element or face toner used to balance skin pH and optimize barrier function. Apply before a face oil or balm for deeper hydration and moisture retention.
Store Hydrosol in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
